Vintage style was highliy appreciated. It made us to think we were in novel, in the history. Location was perfect. Staff reminded my visit that i had done 9 years ago :), so staff was perfect. I definitely advice everyone to stay at this hotel, especially for the people who loves nostalgia and vintage style.Disliked · --
Location is wonderful. Room was clean and the balcony view was fantastic. The lady who greeted us was also friendly and helpful.
Great location! Authentic interior! Great, authentic service from the service desk! Will come back!
The location, the design and the furnitures of the room were magnificient.I felt like in the 18-19th century
Rings back memories of how hotels ans travelling used to be back in the times. It is a gem.
The location of the hotel is perfect! I have some problems with my back and neck (hernia) and I can say that the beds are really very comfortable. We liked the hotel very much. Despite we did not reserve a sea view room, hotel owner gave us a full sea view room. This act was so kind. Price/performance hotel.
Nice host, she cared about us as a mother :), we had a terras from which we could look over the sea
This has been a hotel since 1935. The furniture is original (and in very good condition). We stayed in rooms 114 and 115. They share a balcony. Remember that this is not a new hotel. The ceilings are 3 metres (10 feet) or more. One room was smallish, but decent enough for two people. The other room was large and had a door to the balcony. The view from these two rooms was fabulous. The bathrooms are a recent addition (and therefore take up some of the space in the room). The owner speaks Greek, English and some Bulgarian (and maybe other languages). The windows have been replaced with modern double pane glass, so although the hotel is on a main road and across the street from the harbour, there was no noise in the room when the windows were closed. There is an elevator, but you have to go up one flight of stairs to reach it. Otherwise, be prepared to walk up five flights of stairs (maybe 30-40 stairs). But, it is worth the climb if you are staying in the two rooms with the balcony.
the view of the room we stayed was great. The hotel is in downtown Kavala so you dont need to use your car at night to go to restaurants/bars. The lady in reception was very helpful and nice.
